It isn't just the cars that move quickly in F1. Two races ago, Lando Norris was at his lowest ebb after crashing into his teammate Oscar Piastri, leaving George Russell to take victory. Since then, however, Norris has closed the gap to his teammate, Ferrari have introduced upgrades and leapfrogged Mercedes, and Max Verstappen has been strongly linked to Russell's seat. We'll show how to watch British Grand Prix live streams from anywhere in the world, including free options.

British Grand Prix 2025: preview
Silverstone is an iconic venue in itself, with one of the fastest tracks in F1, but what makes the British Grand Prix extra special is that it serves as the home race of four drivers: Norris, Russell, Lewis Hamilton and Oliver Bearman. Of those, only Hamilton has tasted glory here – a record nine times – which will further incentivise Norris and Russell in particular.
Norris cut the gap to Piastri to just 15 points with an outstanding showing in Austria, lining up a delicate situation for McLaren and a thrilling one for spectators. Verstappen's opening lap crash, meanwhile, has left him 61 points behind Piastri. The Dutchman could win two races that Piastri DNFs in and still be 11 points shy of the Aussie.
At the same time, the battle between Ferrari and Mercedes is really hotting up. Last weekend was their best of the season, owing to a significant floor upgrade, and more could be to come at Silverstone. However, the weather forecast is indicating a wet-dry, which should even up the odds.
