Captain Maro Itoje is slated to return to the XV, while Scotland full-back Blair Kinghorn makes his first start for the Lions.
The Lions defeated the Waratahs 21-10 in their last outing in Sydney, and Farrell shakes up his pack once more for this encounter.
His son Owen is a late arrival to the camp after Elliot Daly suffered a broken arm against the Queensland Reds, but this game will come too early for the England fly-half, who made a spectacular return not just to the international fold, but to Premiership rugby as he completed a move back to former club Saracens from Racing 92.
This is the Lions’ penultimate warm-up match before their first Test against Australia on Saturday, July 19 in Brisbane.
Before that, they will play an XV comprised of Wallabies and All Blacks on Saturday, July 12.
