How to watch Bristol Bears v Saracens live on TV, kick-off time, team news and odds

Bristol Bears face Saracens in Round One of the Gallagher Premiership on Friday night in a mouth-watering opening game to the 2021/22 Gallagher Premiership between two of the strongest sides in the competition.

Last year's table-toppers Bristol Bears are looking to rebuild the walls of fortress Ashton Gate having lost two of their last three home matches, to Exeter Chiefs in Round 17 of last season's Premiership and to Harlequins in the play-offs.

The Bears have begun the season in Round One at Ashton Gate twice before, winning on both occasions against Bath in 2018 and 2019.

Saracens return to the Premiership after a one-year absence with their only league defeat last season being at Cornish Pirates in the RFU Championship in Round One in March 2021.

The last five fixtures between the two clubs have all been won by the home side on the day, whilst Saracens' only previous victory at Ashton Gate was 39-0 on 30 September 2016.

The Men in Black lost 16-12 on their last visit to Bristol back in August 2020.

Around 20,000 fans are expected for Friday night's game but if you can't make it to the game here are all the ways you can follow the action...
