How to watch Birmingham City vs Sunderland AFC - live stream, kick-off time and more

Sunderland AFC make the 200-mile trip to the midlands this evening to face off against Birmingham City at St Andrew's.

And although Tony Mowbray's side will be eager to find their feet once again after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Cardiff at home less than a week ago, it will be far from an easy task for the away side.

The hosting Blues come into tonight's game on a four-game unbeaten streak, with recent victories over QPR and Stoke, as well as clinching a point per piece from Millwall and Swansea.

Sunderland on the other hand, have bitterly lost three of their last five, and subsequently find themselves 17th in the league table - thanks to injury woes and inconsistent form. Depending on how other results unfold over the course of the weekend however, they could climb as high as 12th.

Tonight's fixture will also be the last game for both teams before the international break comes into play for the Qatar World Cup 2022.

Here's how you can watch the Black Cats tonight, as well as kick-off details and more.

What time is kick off?

Tonight's game at St Andrew's will take place at 8.00pm, with team sheets being announced on each club's social media channels an hour before respectively.

How can I watch?

As tonight's game is the only Championship match, it has been selected to be shown on Sky Sports. Although kick off is at 8.00pm, build-up starts half an hour earlier on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event.

Those without Sky Sports can also purchase a NowTV day pass, and watch it through the streaming service alternatively.

How else can I keep up?

BBC Radio Newcastle's Total Sport will be providing pre-match build-up from 6.00pm tonight - with host Simon Pryde and former SAFC players involved. Nick Barnes and Gary Bennett will then takeover around 8.00pm itself for blow by blow coverage as the game gets underway.

And as always, you can check out Chronicle Live's build-up and live coverage on our blog.
