Broadcast and streaming info
Bellator 295 takes place Saturday at Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu. It is the second of back-to-back Bellator events at the venue.
The prelims stream on MMA Junkie (in the U.S.) and Bellator’s YouTube channel at 8 p.m. ET. The main card airs on Showtime at 11 p.m. ET.
Main event
The Bellator bantamweight grand prix will reach its conclusion when interim champion Raufeon Stots takes on Patchy Mix. Stots, 34, and Mix, 29, each have won two fights in the tournament to reach the final. Stots (19-1 MMA, 6-0 BMMA) knocked out Juan Archuleta in the quarterfinals before winning a split decision from Danny Sabatello in the semis. Mix (17-1 MMA, 6-1 BMMA) got past former champ Kyoji Horiguchi in his first fight and followed up wit a guillotine-choke technical submission of Magomed Magomedov to reach the final.
Key debut
Former UFC flyweight title challenger Ray Borg will make his promotional debut against former Bellator and Rizin champ Kyoji Horiguchi on the main card. Borg (16-5 MMA, 0-0B BMMA) is 3-0 since his final UFC fight took place in May 2020. Horiguchi (31-5 MMA, 2-2 BMMA) is on a two-fight winning streak since being bounced from the bantamweight grand prix in the first round.
