How to Watch Bears vs. Eagles, NFL Week 9 Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

The Chicago Bears (3-4) head to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Eagles (4-4) in a rematch of last year’s NFC Wildcard Game. Chicago had the chance to win, but Cody Parkey’s 43-yard field goal attempt hit the left upright and Philly escaped with a 16-15 win. This year, Mitch Trubisky is hoping to lead the Bears to a win and bring their record back to .500 on the season. Chicago leads the all-time series 29-15, but the Eagles have won the last four meetings.

Week Eight came down to a field goal opportunity and a chance to defeat the Chargers at home. However, Eddy Pineiro’s 41-yard attempt as time expired was no good and the team fell, 17-16, to lose its third straight game. Quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed 23 of 35 passes for 253 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception. Trubisky also fumbled, which led to the go ahead touchdown for Los Angeles. Despite that, he was named the starter for this weekend’s game against Philly. Rookie David Montgomery was the lone bright spot with a career-high 135 yards and one touchdown. His 27 carries were nearly four times greater than the whole team had against the Saints.

The Bears defense kept them in the game, but need to create more pressure and force turnovers. Philip Rivers threw for 201 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and was sacked once during the game. Chicago did an excellent job in the run game, holding L.A. to a mere 36 total yards. Kyle Fuller led the team with seven tackles and the lone interception, while linebacker Khalil Mack added four tackles and one sack.

Philadelphia improved to .500 after a 31-13 win against the Bills. Carson Wentz completed 17 of 24 passes for 172 yards and one touchdown. The Eagles ground and pound running game worked with the 1-2 punch of Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders. The duo racked up 170 total yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, the team tallied four sacks on Bills quarterback Josh Allen and limited its offense to 253 total yards. Fletcher Cox picked up six tackles and one and a half sacks to lead the team, while Brandon Graham and Nathan Gerry each chipped in six tackles and one sack in the game. Despite being second in the NFC East, Philadelphia ranks 21st in both points allowed (24.9) and passing yards allowed (256.1).
