Vincent Kompany’s side made the perfect start to the tournament with a ruthless 10-0 win over Auckland City in their opening match.
This will be a far more difficult test, with Boca impressing in their opening match against Benfica.
The South American side went two goals up in that fixture but had to settle for a point, in a typically feisty encounter in which they finished with only nine players on the pitch.
With a match against Auckland to come, Boca will know any sort of positive victory here against Bayern would leave them firmly on course for a place in the last-16.
Bayern, meanwhile, will want to make it two wins from two and give Kompany the chance to potentially rest players when they face Benfica.
