How to watch Australia vs Turkey: TV channel and live stream for World Cup today

Australia and Turkey meet in the early hours on Sunday morning as action from the 2026 World Cup continues.

Co-hosts United States have already put down a marker in Group D, thumping Paraguay 4-1 on Saturday to take an early lead at the top of the table.

As a result, this showdown could go a long way to deciding the favourites for a top-two finish along with the USA, and therefore automatic progression to the round of 32.

Australia go into the game hoping to defy expectations and head coach Tony Popovic - formerly of Crystal Palace - has been boosted by the knowledge that he has a clean bill of health ahead of his nation’s opener.

Turkey, meanwhile, will give up plenty of World Cup experience given this is the first tournament they have qualified for in 24 years - when they finished third after losing to eventual winners Brazil in the semi-finals.

Youngsters Arda Guler and Kenan Yildiz are expected to play a key role for Turkey at the World Cup and manager Vincenzo Montella appears to have found the right formula in hope of a deep run in North America.

Previous meetings point to a win for Turkey as they have won both matches against Australia - although those games were all the way back in 2004 and plenty has changed since then.

Here’s everything you need to know about where to watch the match...
