The SEC Game of the Week takes place in The Swamp as No. 10 Florida plays host to No. 7 Auburn in a crucial conference matchup. Something has to give on Saturday, as both teams come into this huge game with undefeated 5-0 records. If either team has dreams of the College Football Championship, this is a must-win game.

The No. 7 Gators were dealt a big blow with the season-ending injury to starting quarterback Feleipe Franks. Backup Kyle Trask stepped in and did well in the last two wins over Tennessee and Towson. However, this game will be the real test on how well the redshirt junior does in a pressure situation against a top opponent.
Despite the questions under center for Florida, its backbone will be its defense. How well Florida handles Auburn’s juggernaut of an offense will be a big factor in how this one plays out. Allowing under 10 points a game is quite impressive. With one of the nation’s best defensive rushing attacks, it’ll need to disrupt the Tigers aerial attack all game to have a chance.
Bo Nix is Auburn’s do-it-all man under center. The superstar freshman quarterback is having a fantastic first season. His 335 yards and two touchdowns through the air and 56 yards and one touchdown on the ground led Auburn to a 56-23 over Mississippi State last weekend. While many factors will play into the outcome of this vital result, the Gators defense trying to contain Nix will likely be the biggest of them all.
