How to watch Arsenal vs Watford on TV and is it free on Sky Pick

Arsenal will be looking to end a below-par 2019/20 Premier League campaign with a victory when they welcome Watford to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

After progressing to the Emirates FA Cup Final last Saturday evening with a 2-0 triumph over Manchester City at Wembley, the Gunners failed to build on that impressive performance against Aston Villa in midweek.

The Gunners were beaten 1-0 at Villa Park thanks to Trezeguet’s first half effort, bringing an end to their hopes of securing a top-six finish.

Whilst the hope of securing a spot in next season’s Europa League is not over just yet for the Gunners, as they will still qualify for the competition if they win next weekend’s FA Cup Final, they will be looking to end the Premier League season on a high.

A win for Mikel Arteta’s side could see them finish the campaign as high as eighth in the table so long as both Burnley and Sheffield United fail to win.

Watford, meanwhile, will travel to North London facing the prospect of suffering relegation to the Championship. The Hornets are currently inside the bottom three on goal-difference, meaning if they fail to better Aston Villa’s result against West Ham United then they will be relegated.

But with all major sporting events in England currently being forced to be played behind-closed-doors, both Arsenal and Watford’s supporters will not be allowed inside the Emirates Stadium to support their respective team.

That means that the Gunners’ supporters will be forced to watch the action unfold either at home or at the local pub.

But what do you need to know about the clash at the Emirates Stadium? We have outlined all of the key details right here.

What time is kick-off between Arsenal and Watford?

This afternoon’s tussle between Arsenal and the managerless Hornets, just like the rest of the Premier League’s final day fixtures, gets underway at 4:00pm.

Arsenal vs Watford TV channel and live stream details

The Gunners’ showdown with Watford, who have lost their last two visits to the Emirates Stadium, will be screened live on Sky Sports Premier League.

Though the game does not get underway until 4:00pm, the coverage begins an hour earlier at 3:00pm.

Following the full-time whistle, the coverage will conclude on Sky Sports Premier League at 7:30pm.

Broadcasting giants Sky, prior to the Premier League season resuming last month, announced that 25 of their remaining matches would be screened for free on their Sky Pick channel, but this is not one of those fixtures.

Therefore, you will require a paid Sky Sports subscription to watch this game.

Team news

After picking up a hamstring problem in last Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against City, the Gunners will have to make do without German defender Shkodran Mustafi once again.

As well as that, Arteta will also be unable to call upon Bernd Leno, Pablo Mari, Calum Chambers and Gabriel Martinelli. The Spaniard, though, may look to rotate his pack ahead of next weekend’s clash with Chelsea at Wembley, meaning the likes of Dani Ceballoas, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette could all be rested.

Watford, meanwhile, will be without right-back Daryl Janmaat, Gerard Deulofeu and Isaac Success.

Midfielder Etienne Capoue, though, could feature if he wins his fitness battle.

Odds

Arsenal are priced at 10/11 to record a final day victory.

Watford are backed at 13/5 to record what could be a priceless three points whilst a draw is at 14/5.
