The Gunners edged past Crystal Palace last time out thanks to Eberechi Eze’s wonderstrike, as the England international scored his first Premier League goal for his new club.
Before that, Arsenal had thrashed Atletico Madrid 4-0 at the Emirates Stadium and downed Fulham 1-0 at Craven Cottage thanks to Leandro Trossard’s winner.
Brighton are 13th in the table, with three wins, three draws, and three defeats from their first nine games.
They were beaten 4-2 by Manchester United in their previous outing, with Bryan Mbeumo’s late goal ending any last hopes of a comeback at Old Trafford after Danny Welbeck and Charalampos Kostoulas had got the Seagulls to within one goal of United.
