How to watch Arsenal v Liverpool in the FA Community Shield online and on UK TV

The winners of last year's Premier League and FA Cup come head-to-head in the season's annual 'curtain raiser' this Saturday.

Liverpool and Arsenal are two of the competitions most successful sides with a combined 30 victories between them.

Jurgen Klopp's side lost out in last year's Community Shield, losing 5-4 on penalties to Manchester City after a 1-1 draw in normal time.

Arsenal, meanwhile, last appeared in the Community Shield in 2017 against Chelsea. Their game also went to penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal time. They lifted the trophy after winning the shoot-out 4-1.

Together, the two clubs have competed in the match on three occasions: 1979, 1989 and 2002. The Gunners ran out victorious in the last meeting, while Liverpool came out on top in the previous two.

Coverage of the game will be shown live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate. Build-up starts at 4pm with kick-off at 4.30pm.
