How to watch Apple's 'Awe dropping' event on September 9 – get ready for iPhone 17, AirPods 3, and more

An image representing the 2025 Apple September event.

The next Apple event is taking place on September 9, with all the rumors and tips so far pointing towards new iPhones – a given for Apple’s September showcase – and new Apple Watch models, with the potential to see new AirPods too.

And I’d place a solid bet that we’ll hear about new Apple Intelligence features, some of which will likely come fresh out of the box with the new devices.

TechRadar will be at the event, so we’ll bring you all our reactions and analysis as it happens, as well as the news and views from the wider team. So keep your browser locked to our site.

How to watch the iPhone 17 ’Awe dropping’ launch showcase

Apple’s ‘Awe dropping’ event states at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST on Tuesday, September 9; that’s 3am on September 10 for those in the AEST time zone.

Much like last year, the showcase will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, where our Editor-at-Large Lance Ulanoff and US Managing Editor of News Jacob Krol will be boots on the ground reporting.

Apple’s YouTube page (see above) for the event is already live, so you can head there to sign up for the livestream and get notifications for when it kicks off.

But if you don’t have time to give the livestream your full attention, be sure to check out the TechRadar TikTok for videos of all the most exciting announcements or intriguing features and happenings from the show.

What to expect from the Apple September event

  • iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Plus: expect a new chip, new colors, iOS 26 out of the box
  • iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max: new A19 Pro chip, a tweaked camera design, upgraded telephoto camera, vapor chamber cooling
  • iPhone 17 Air: a super-slim phone that could replace the iPhone 17 Plus, if it does actually happen
  • Apple Watch 11: potential tweaked design, new chip, blood oxygen monitoring, a whole lot of AI
  • Apple Watch Ultra 3: new chip, satellite connectivity, and high-blood-pressure detection
  • AirPods Pro 3: IR sensors for gesture control, health tracking features, new chipset, and of course improved audio quality
