How to watch all Love Island 2023 action as finale arrives

Love Island fans are in for a treat this evening as the winning couple is finally crowned after an eight-week stint in the Casa Amore. With four couples still fighting for popularity to be announced as the perfect pairing, Love Island fans can expect plenty of drama in the final of the first series of 2023.

Following an announcement on Thursday's episode, it was revealed that there would be a sting in the tail of the season, with couples having to vote for the least compatible pair, meaning viewers could be seeing the first dumping happen early doors.

The couples still snuggled up in the South African villa ahead of the final are Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan, Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad, Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, and Samie Elishi and Tom Clare.

The fifth couple to almost reach the excitement of the final, Jessie Wynter and Will Young, were unceremoniously dumped during the penultimate episode following a public vote.

Love Island host Maya Jama took to social media on March 1 to confirm the final will air today, Monday, March 13, giving fans a two-week warning that this season of the show is coming to an end.

With the winning couple set to win an impressive prize pot of £50,00 and all the trappings of fame that come with the accolade, fans are calling it too close to call.

Viewers can watch the contestants make their final speeches and watch the crowning of the perfect pair live at 9pm on ITV2 (Freeview channel number six). Fans can also watch it streamed live via the ITVX Hub.

Alternatively, if you’d like to download the episode to watch offline to watch at a more convenient time, you can subscribe to ITVX Premium, which is available with a seven-day free trial followed by a fee of £5.99 per month.

How to watch the Love Island final from outside the UK

If you are enjoying your very own villa holiday somewhere tropical, or are a Love Island fan residing on faraway shores, you can still catch all the excitement of the live final by using a VPN.

A VPN is a downloadable tool that creates a secure connection between a computing device and a computer network, or between two networks, using an insecure communication medium such as the public Internet. Completely legal to use, a VPN will mask your device's address, making it easy to bypass pesky location restrictions so you can enjoy access to UK TV from anywhere in the world.

Using a VPN like NordVPN or ExpressVPN is also a good option for viewers who don't want to commit to a monthly TV channel subscription and would rather enjoy watching from their laptop, phone or tablet on the go.

Following these easy steps, you can watch all the drama of the final night in the villa using a VPN:

1. Download your preferred VPN and set your location to the UK to get all free TV across the country.

2. Go to the ITVX website or app on the same device,

3. Search for Love Island and sit back and enjoy

For super fans of the dating show, a VPN could also let you catch up with recent Love Island Australia or the American series. Get comfy, get the snacks ready and let the fun begin!
