How to watch a new climate change documentary from Leonardo DiCaprio

A documentary narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio is premiering on a UK streaming service this month.

Entitled Ice on Fire, the 2019 film which focuses on climate change will be available on NowTV from June 3.

The film is narrated and produced by the Oscar winning actor and activist DiCaprio and follows up the 11th Hour and Before the Flood, both of which also explore climate change.

This latest documentary focuses on the potential extinction level event caused by arctic methane release and the newly developed technologies that could reverse global warming by sequestering carbon out of the atmopshere.

After its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019 it received a standing ovation and rave reviews from critics and audiences.

DiCaprio famously took the chance to talk about climate change and environmentalism during his Oscar speech for Best Actor in 2016, saying: "Climate change is real, it is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating."

Since then it premiered on HBO in the US and will now arrive to the UK to stream on NowTV.

You can watch the documentary film via NowTV's Cinema Pass. You can sign up for a free seven-day trial and then pay £11.99 per month. To find out more go to nowtv.com.
