Like any great skateboarding game, skate. is all about landing cool tricks in interesting areas. You might have already seen people posting all their incredible replays, and maybe you want to get in on the fun. After getting the hang of the basics in the game, that’s what I wanted to do as soon as I started doing some neat tricks. Fortunately, the Replay Editor in skate. is powerful and easy to use.
In this short guide, we’ll be walking you through how to use the Replay Editor to view, edit, save, and share your clips. You don’t need to worry about specific settings for this feature, as it works the same way across all platforms.
Using The Replay Editor

In this game, there isn’t really a record button that you can press at will to start recording your gameplay. Instead, whenever you start a line, the game automatically starts recording and saves the clip when you finish said line. So, as soon as you land a trick that you like, you can open up the Replay Editor to view it.
You do this by holding down on the D-pad and bringing up the Skate Toolkit. In the wheel that pops up, select the bottom-right icon by flicking your right analog stick in that direction. Release the D-pad, and you’ll end up in the Replay Editor. You can rewind up to five minutes of footage by holding down the left trigger, and fast forward with the right trigger.
Trim the video by simply pressing the right bumper, and set start and endpoints by pressing left or right on the D-pad, respectively. Press the right bumper again to save the trimmed clip. Click the menu button to save/export your clip. Saving is only temporary, as saved clips get deleted once you quit the game and end your session.
Exporting Clips And Camera Angles

If you decide to export the clip, it will be saved to your console’s media gallery. On PlayStation, you can find clips in the Media Gallery app, and Xbox has a similar app called Captures. For PC players, clips will be automatically exported to the following directory:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Skate\data
If you don’t find your clips there, try the videos folder or go directly to:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Videos\
Replace the username placeholder with your actual username on Windows.
While you’re in the Replay Editor, you can also play around with different camera angles. When viewing the footage, use the D-pad to switch between different angles. Finally, you can also take screenshots within the editor by pressing the right analog stick to take a photo.
