Fortnite Chapter Six, season three has multiple passes from which you can claim exquisite cosmetic rewards. But you need a big chunk of XP to unlock levels on these passes, and the best way to do this is to complete quests. One such form of quests is the weekly challenges that refresh every week.
One quest this week requires you to find a telephone booth and put on a disguise. Although the challenge sounds fairly simple, locating one of these booths can be difficult because there aren’t too many available across the island.

Use a telephone booth in Fortnite Galactic Battle to put on a disguise
Putting on a disguise using a telephone booth is fairly simple in Fortnite Galactic Battle. All you have to do is head over to a telephone booth and interact with it using the respective hotkey displayed as a prompt whenever you step close to the booth.
Once you interact with the booth, you will step inside it momentarily and come out disguised as a Stormtrooper according to the storyline of Galactic Battle. Although this part of the task is quite simple, finding a telephone booth can be tricky unless you know where to look.
What are telephone booth disguises used for in Fortnite?
Disguises obtained from the telephone booth allow you to blend in with other NPCs, specifically, with the Imperial Stormtrooper NPCs found around the map. Having this disguise equipped will cause the Stormtrooper NPCs to consider you as one of their own and prevent attracting any aggression from them.
However, this disguise is temporary and will only last as long as you don’t use your weapons. Using your weapons will cause you to lose your disguise and return to your previous outfit.
All telephone booth locations in Fortnite Galactic Battle
There is a total of eight telephone booths located across the entire island in Fortnite Galactic Battle. You have to be careful when trying to locate them, as all of these booths are located near outposts and bases swarming with Stormtroopers. They are also somewhat hidden from plain sight, so make sure to check behind boulders and in secret corners to find them.
Here are all the locations of every telephone in Fortnite Galactic Battle:
- Inside the First Order Base.
- Near the road heading south from the First Order Base.
- Outside the outpost, located on the road leading north of Magic Mosses.
- Near the outpost on the western side of Pumped Power.
- Towards the north of Outlaw Oasis.
- Towards the west of Crime City.
- Near the lake, located in the south of Crime City.
- Inside the mountain fortress area of Vader Samurai’s Solitude.
The telephone booths are bright red, so spotting them at all the locations shouldn’t be too difficult. However, make sure to do a complete sweep of the regions mentioned if you are having trouble locating one of them.
