How to unlock the 20th-anniversary rewards in Halo Infinite

343 Industries seems to be the gift that keeps on coming.

It was only announced last night that Halo Infinite was being released nearly a month earlier than expected with the multiplayer available to play on Xbox and PC right now.

Aside from being able to play the game right away, fans of Halo are being given some extra treats for jumping on the bandwagon early.

As yesterday (November 15) was the 20th anniversary of the very first Halo game, 343 Industries thought it right to give players some cosmetic rewards in Halo Infinite to celebrate.

These cosmetics can be used to dazzle up your Spartan in multiplayer game modes as you fight across all the new maps.

How to unlock the rewards

You don't have to do much special to unlock the 20th-anniversary rewards, in fact, you probably only have to click your mouse or controller a couple of times to gain access to them.

Simply download and log in to Halo Infinite and the rewards will be there ready and waiting to be equipped to your Spartan.

But there is a time limit on unlocking these cosmetics so don't put it off because of how easy it is.

You have until Monday, November 22 to log in and collect your rewards before they're no longer accessible.

What rewards are available

There is a multitude of cosmetic rewards available, all of which can be used to add a personal touch to your in-game character.

Long-time fans of the series will also notice that one of the cosmetics are intended to copy the look of Master Chief, the title's and arguably one of gaming's most iconic characters.

The following rewards are available:

  • Armor Platinum Anniversary Armor Coating
  • Assault Rifle Platinum Anniversary Armor Coating
  • Warthog Platinum Anniversary Armor Coating
  • “Assembled” Emblems
  • Blue Team Weapon Charm
  • Heart Emblem Set

HCS, Halo's Esports arm, also has a limited bundle of cosmetics available right now.

The red, white and blue colour set is available via the in-game store for zero credits (so, for free, basically).

If you've not downloaded Halo Infinite yet, here's our guide on how to take on the role of a Spartan once again.
