The Pack-A-Punch machine is a staple in any Call of Duty Zombies game. It allows you to upgrade your weapons, enabling them to deal significantly more damage, and is a must for later rounds.
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the Pack-A-Punch machine appears slightly differently compared to other games, at least on the Ashes of the Damned map.

How to unlock Pack-A-Punch on Ashes of the Damned in Black Ops 7
On Ashes of the Damned, Pack-A-Punch is tied to Ol’ Tessie, the Wonder Vehicle. The vehicle is also the main way of transportation around the map until you restore all the power for fast travel. To add Pack-A-Punch to Tessie, follow the main objectives until you reach Ashwood.
Install T.E.D.D.’s head on Ol’ Tessie
The first objective on the Ashes of the Damned map is to install T.E.D.D.’s head on the truck. Open the door to the server room for 1,250 Essence and melee the grate on the floor to get the head. Carry the head to the truck outside and interact with it.
Restore power in Blackwater Lake or Vandorn Farm
With the head installed, you can either drive left to Blackwater Lake or right to Vandorn Farm. Where you go doesn’t matter unless you want to pick up a specific perk early on. Drive to any location and restore power by destroying all the infestation spores on the Power Pump within 30 seconds. After clearing the Power Pump, open the door with 1,750 Essence to reach the switch and flip it.
Restore power in Ashwood
Next stop is Ashwood, where you need to do the same as before. This Power Pump is located at the top, so you need to use the ziplines to get there and spend 2,750 Essence to open all the doors leading to it. Kill zombies, clear the infestation, and flip the switch next to the Power Pump to restore the power.
Install Pack-A-Punch machine on Ol’ Tessie
After restoring power, jump into Ol’ Tessie and drive inside the now-open garage near the ziplines. The Pack-A-Punch machine is inside on the workbench: interact with it to install it at the back of the truck.
Now you can Pack-A-Punch your weapons at the back of Ol’ Tessie. As long as the Wonder Vehicle is with you, you can upgrade weapons regardless of where you are. Keep in mind that if you use jump pads to travel across locations, Ol’ Tessie will remain where you left it.
Installing the Pack-A-Punch also allows you to use a boost when driving Ol’ Tessie.
