How to unlock Memory Packs in CloverPit

As a roguelite, CloverPit offers multiple ways for you to customize your run, from lucky charms and phone offers to Memory Packs—a feature that unlocks slightly later in the game after you get accustomed to the core mechanics.

Here’s how to get and use Memory Packs in CloverPit.

The Memory Pack first appears after you unlock the second drawer used to store charms (or create Corpses). You’ll see the pack hanging from the claw in the room, and a prompt to earn a lot of coins.  To get the pack, you need to earn enough coins to cover the next deadline immediately.

When you have enough coins, you’ll get a prompt offering you a deal at the start of the deadline: deposit all the coins needed for the next deadline in exchange for a Memory Pack. Submit the coins and you’ll get the pack with three random Memory Cards.

As you might expect, you don’t get any coins by skipping a deadline this way, but you do get tickets to spend on lucky charms.

After unlocking Memory Cards, you can choose one of them at the start of the new run. Memory Cards alter the rules of the run. For example, Overdose makes all charms triggered by the red button trigger one more time, but they won’t recharge whenever a round ends.

Memory Cards are expendable, which means that after you use a card in one run, you need to get another copy to use it again. Some of the cards can drastically improve your runs, but because you can’t reliably get copies of them, their main purpose is likely for you to give yourself an extra challenge and get all the achievements.
