Method 1: Unlocking Marx Through The Air Ride: Free Run Mission
In Kirby Air Riders, players can unlock Marx through two methods. However, obtaining him by completing this Air Ride: Free Run challenge is the quickest. The mission is easy and requires you to stay above 19 miles per hour for a whole lap. Once you fulfill the requirement, Marx is available on the character screen. Here are all the required steps:
- Head to the Main Menu
- Select Air Ride
- Select Free Run
- Choose any stage, character, and vehicle
- Complete the 19 miles per hour requirement
- Pause and exit
Voila! You’ve successfully unlocked Marx. While the challenge is indeed easy, we’d recommend going for courses with long straights and few corners. As a result, going below 19 MPH won’t be a problem even with a couple of mistakes.
Keep in mind that this challenge is exclusive to Free Run, and attempting it in other modes won’t give you Marx. Thanks to this free stage, you have an endless road to complete the milestone without feeling the regular pressure.
Method 2: Unlocking Marx Through The Road Trip Mission
If the first method is too easy or you need to unlock Marx’s alternate skin, then completing this Road Trip mission is your best bet. It requires you to spend 300,000 Road Miles, which, on paper, sounds easy but takes a lot of time and patience to complete.
Here, spending this amount isn’t a real challenge, but earning is for sure. All you need to do is farm as many Road Miles as you can by nailing missions in Free Run and Road Trip modes. Once you have enough Miles, use them on the kart and cosmetic purchases until you reach the desired limit.
As a result, you’ll either unlock Marx if you skipped the first method or unlock his alternate black skin if he was already a part of your roster.
