Jinx brings her chaotic energy from League of Legends straight into 2XKO, Riot’s free-to-play 2v2 fighter that launched on Jan. 20, 2026, across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. And here’s everything you need to know about unlocking her.
As a locked Zoner archetype Champion, Jinx excels at mid-to-long range with guns, rockets, and traps. Her explosive specials like Pow-Pow Up-Up, Fishbones, and Zap are perfect for keeping foes at bay while tagging in a partner for pressure.
Unlike free starters such as Ahri, Braum, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, and Yasuo, unlocking Jinx requires effort or spending, but it’s doable without spending cash. Here’s a guide that walks you through every step to get her in your roster fast in 2XKO Season 1.

How to unlock Jinx in 2XKO

Jinx costs the standard locked Champion price, which is one Champion Token, 10,000 Credits (green currency), or 1,000 KO Points (premium currency bought with real money).
Tokens are your quickest free bet, as new players snag at least two right away. Credits come from grinding matches and missions, while KO Points skip the wait but make you spend around $10.
Free Champion Token way
All you need to do is head to the Learning Hub and complete the “First Fight” tutorial to get one Token instantly. Then, click on Progression, and finish the “12 First Steps” missions for another Token.
These are easy dailies like winning a match or landing combos. Once that’s done, head over to the Champions tab, select Jinx, and redeem. You will finally unlock her at absolutely no extra cost. But what will you do if you’ve already used this method to unlock another Champion?

Unlock Jinx by farming Credits
If your Tokens are gone, you can start grinding and earn 10,000 Credits. Casual matches drop 20 per win and 10 to 15 per loss. So, playing 100 to 200 games will get you there, but don’t waste time. Also, you can queue Casual duos for faster wins.
I would suggest prioritizing dailies and weeklies in Progression, as they reward hundreds per task, like “Play 5 games” or “Use specials 20 times.” Combo Trials in Learn (per champ, beginner to expert) pay big, up to thousands as you level difficulties, and they teach Jinx moves too.
The Credit cap is 12,000, so make sure to spend the collected amount on Jinx before overflowing.
Purchasing KO Points
If you don’t want to spend so much time grinding Credits, you can always opt for spending real money instead. Spend 1,000 KO Points to unlock her immediately, and you don’t need to play any mission.

Starter Editions in the store bundle four to eight Tokens, plus cosmetics for $10 to $50, which often provides better value if you want skins. Battle Pass might tie in future Tokens, but the free track alone won’t cover her.
Why main Jinx in 2XKO?
Jinx paired with Vi or Warwick makes killer duos, as she zones while they dive. Her kit is also beginner-friendly, with a high ease-of-use score, having rocket jumps for escapes and monkey traps for setups. These are some of the best reasons why you must main Jinx after unlocking her.
Start with practicing Pow-Pow sprays into Fishbones for pokes. Use Zap traps on wakeup for free pressure, and tag her out for assists, as her rocket covers retreats. Play smart and farm her mastery fast through daily combos to unlock extras.
Now, before you head to start your grind, ensure 2XKO isn’t down by checking the server status.
