The hard-hitting FFAR 1 is making a comeback in Call of Duty season four, giving us another top-tier assault rifle to shred our enemies in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
Last season, we saw how the classics like the Kilo 141, CR-56 AMAX, and HDR have dominated the meta when Verdansk returned. In season four, there’s a good chance the FFAR could do the same.
If you’re looking to add this fan-favorite weapon to your arsenal, here’s how you can unlock it when CoD season four drops on May 29.
How to unlock FFAR 1 in BO6 and Warzone
Originally introduced in Black Ops 3 back in 2016, this full-auto bullpup assault rifle is known for its blazing-fast fire rate, making it a beast that can rival SMGs in close-quarters encounters. It also features a burst-fire mode if you’re into more controlled shots at medium to long range. Talk about versatility.
You can unlock the FFAR through the Black Ops 6 and Warzone season four battle pass page six. It’s still unclear if it’ll be a standard unlock or marked as a High Value Target (HVT), but either way, you’ll need to grind through about 30 tiers using battle pass tokens to get your hands on it.
A store bundle featuring an FFAR blueprint might drop too, likely priced at between 1,500 and 2,400 CoD Points. Buying it gets you the base weapon instantly, and you can level it up right away to unlock additional attachments.
When season four concludes, the FFAR could be available through the Armory later on. Just head to the Challenges section under the Barracks tab in the main menu, and complete the corresponding XP-based challenge to unlock it.
The FFAR isn’t the only new weapon in season four. The LC10 SMG is also available at launch via the battle pass, while the Essex Model 07 marksman rifle, Olympia double-barrel shotgun, and Pickaxe melee weapon are set to drop later in the season.
