How to travel to other planets in Revenge of the Savage Planet

Revenge of the Savage Planet spans far beyond the harsh terrain of Stellaris Prime. You'll have the opportunity to travel to multiple planets, but you must unlock a specific device first. Here's what you need to do.

How to reach other planets in Revenge of the Savage Planet

You can travel to the other planets by unlocking the Planet Cannon. This device is a part of the Lost Luggage main quest: That Has My Name on It. Reaching this task shouldn't take long, as it can appear roughly two hours into the game. Once unlocked, head to the north side of Stellaris Prime to find the missing targeting software.

Use your grappling device, the Proton Whip Tether, to reach the software interface. Interact with the machine to begin the hacking challenge. You must stay within the red circular radius until the hacking device reaches 100 percent. Enemies will spawn and try to push you out of the zone. Switch between weapons such as the Spritzer Power Hose, Proton Whip, and Pistol. Each enemy type is vulnerable to a specific tool, and quick thinking will help you stay in control. Don't forget to also collect materials from their bodies, including Carbon and Silicon.

After completing the hacking challenge, you'll receive the blueprint for the Planet Cannon. Unlike other builds, you won't need to gather any materials—it's ready for use as soon as you unlock it. Simply return to base and interact with the computer near the front door. You'll upgrade your habitat and gain the Planet Cannon. It'll appear right in front of your base, allowing you to launch yourself to the other planets.

The first time you use the Planet Cannon, you'll be launched to the desert world Xephyr. Upon arrival, you'll receive a video message from a familiar character, setting the stage for the next chapter of your journey. If you want to return to Stellaris Prime, use the nearby Teleporter for instant travel. Other planets, including Quasadron IX and Zenithian Rift, will require you to use the Planet Cannon again, but only after completing additional main quests.

You can travel to five planets in total, each offering unique challenges and mysteries. I won't reveal too much as the fifth planet dives into spoiler territory. As you explore different biomes, you'll uncover new adventures and learn how Alta Interglobal's actions have affected others. These planets provide clues about the far-reaching consequences of the corporation's decisions. You can survey the galaxy on your own or team up with a friend for co-op play. For a fresh twist, switch your avatar to the Dave the Diver outfit and see the adventure through an unexpected lens.

In addition to the Planet Cannon, you'll also have access to the Javelin ship, which can return you to your true home. However, the Javelin is currently submerged, and you'll need to complete a set of sub-quests to free it. Javelin-related missions are scattered across multiple planets, and players who successfully repair the ship will unlock the "Hasta La Vista" achievement and earn a ticket back to Earth.
