As all elite QBs know by heart, very few passes can be as game-changing as a well-placed lob, which puts all of your faith in your receiver and can more often than not be the catalyst to a comeback when no option seems available.
But unlike many might think, performing the pass won’t demand huge inputs. Instead, it will all rely on timing. To help you bring even more to your game, here’s how to throw a Lob Pass in College Football 26, no matter your passing type of choice.
How To Throw A Lob Pass In College Football 26
No matter your passing type, you can perform a lob pass in College Football 26 by simply tapping the input corresponding to your designated receiver. If you want a throw with a higher arc or power, then hold R1/RB while doing the above. When using the game’s more intuitive passing types, you will also need to be more mindful of the distance between you and your receiver. So, make sure to consider the positioning of all involved and the height of the pass before attempting it.
How To Change Your Passing Type
If you are a seasoned player, you can change your passing style in College Football 26 by first either pausing and selecting it or heading to Settings from the main menu. On the menu, you can then change your passing type by going to Game Options tab and scrolling down until you spot the option. You can check out an overview of each passing type below:
- Placement: Allows you to control both the placement and power of your throws, while their accuracy will be determined by your player’s rating. Recommended for new players.
- Revamped Passing: The game’s default option. Allows you to perfectly throw well-timed passes and get full control over their arc. Like in the above, the accuracy of your throw will depend on your player’s stats.
- Placement and Accuracy: An advanced version of the above, which gives you full control over your passes and allows you to green bullet ones. If you miss a throw here, it’s on you.
- Classic: The classic style. Allows you to get full control over the arc of your passes. Lacks visual cues.
