How to stream Sunderland's League One semi-final play-off on TV without a Sky Sports subscription

Tonight, Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football will broadcast the second leg of Sunderland semi-final play-off with Portsmouth.

Jack Ross will need no reminder that when the two sides met at Fratton Park earlier in the season, Portsmouth won the game 3-1.

But taking a 1-0 lead to the south coast, he knows that if his side avoid defeat, a trip to Wembley awaits on May 26.

For the Sunderland fans reading who don't have a Sky Sports subscription, or indeed won't be making the lengthy journey down to Southsea, you can still watch the game through the use of a Now TV Day Pass .

Starting from £5.99, Day Passes give users access to Sky Sports for a limited timeframe.

If you've never had or read into the details of Now TV in the past, you'll be pleased to hear that it is supported by most smartphones, tablets, streaming devices and games consoles meaning no additional purchases are necessary.

Now TV also provide their own compatible devices - streaming devices and and set-top boxes - here on their website .

In League One's other play-off semi-final, Charlton lead Doncaster Rovers 2-1. The second-leg will be played at The Valley on Friday night and will also be shown live on both Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event.
