The Old Peace quest becomes available in Warframe after the update goes live across all available platforms, but starting the new storyline can be slightly confusing.
For the first time in the history of Warframe, we have a skip ahead system in place. This will allow new and returning players to enjoy the quest without having to go through the pain of completing the older quests.
This guide will inform you about all the prerequisites for gaining access to the new quest.
How to access The Old Peace quest in Warframe
There are two ways to begin The Old Peace questline.
- Use the skip ahead system
- Go the organic route
It's important to note that while the skip ahead system is much more convenient, you'll have to choose the organic route later to get the quest rewards. The skip ahead only allows you to try and experience all the quests in advance.
- To play The Old Peace quest, matchmake with a friend who has access to the quest.
- If you're above MR 10, you can publicly matchmake to enjoy the new content.
If you want to unlock all the rewards, you'll have to organically clear a lot of content to get access to The Old Peace.
- First, complete all the chapters in Arc 1 - Awakening. I am unsure if you have to clear all of them, but you should do so. These chapters will provide you with the essential tools required later on the path to unlock The Old Peace.
- Next, complete The Second Dream, The War Within, Chains of Harrow, Apostasy Prologue, and The Sacrifice in Arc 2 - The War Within Saga.
- Complete all three quests in Arc 3 - The New War Saga: Prelude to War, The New War, and The Duviri Paradox.
- Complete Whispers in the Walls and The Lotus Eaters in Arc 4 - The Void War Saga. I will also recommend completing The Hex if you want a complete experience, but that's not necessary to unlock The Old Peace.
If you're a new player, completing all the chapters will require a lot of time. However, all the quests are amazing in terms of their respective story content, and you'll get a lot of valuable rewards.
