To start the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels DLC, you need to head to the themed Expedition marker near the Caldera in Mexico. It should be quite obvious where this big marker is on the map, so set a route, drive over there, and get transported to the new Forza Horizon 5 area via a jumbo Hot Wheels launcher. Where to start the Hot Wheels DLC for Forza Horizon 5
If you’ve paid for the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels DLC, you can start it by heading to the Hot Wheels Expedition activity, which should be marked on your map between the Caldera and Guanajuato – see the above map. This Expedition mission serves as the introduction to the Hot Wheels DLC and unlocks the extra Hot Wheels Park toy map and its other activities.
Drive over to the Hot Wheels Expedition icon and stop your car when you get to the right area, then follow the button prompt to begin the high-octane intro mission to Hot Wheels Park, which sees you racing across the giant, orange roads at ridiculous speeds. Once the intro is over, you’ll have access to the Hot Wheels Park map and can start working your way through the adventure, starting with B-Class Cars, new Hazard Sprints, and more.
However, if you’re a new Forza Horizon 5 player, you won’t be able to access the Hot Wheels DLC right away. You’ll need to play through the introduction of the base game until you’ve completed your first Horizon Story mission (either Vocho or El Camino) to unlock the open world. Luckily this intro isn’t very long and should only take you around 15 minutes. Once you’re able to freely drive around Mexico, follow the above steps to get to the Hot Wheels Park.
