How to spot the International Space Station in the skies above Scotland tonight

It's always circling somewhere above our heads at record speed.

However, tonight the International Space Station will be visible for a few minutes in Scotland.

From Glasgow , to Edinburgh , Stirling and Aberdeen , Scots across the country will be able to get a glimpse of the shuttle.

It is the third brightest object in the sky and easy to spot if you know when to look up, and you don't need any fancy equipment to see it either.

Visible to the naked eye, it looks like a fast-moving plane only much higher and traveling thousands of miles an hour faster.

You'll be able to spot the bright space station shuttle at 11.07pm tonight but only for four minutes, so you better be quick.

It will be visible across Scotland so you don't have to travel far to see it.
