How to spot the International Space Station in the skies above Scotland this weekend

It's always circling somewhere above our heads at record speed.

However, this weekend the International Space Station will be visible for a few minutes each night in Scotland.

From Glasgow , to Edinburgh , Stirling and Aberdeen , Scots across the country will be able to get a glimpse of the shuttle.

It is the third brightest object in the sky and easy to spot if you know when to look up - you don't need any fancy equipment to see it either.

Visible to the naked eye, it looks like a fast-moving plane only much higher and traveling thousands of miles an hour faster.

So here's at exactly what time you'll be able to spot it across the country:

Dundee

Saturday, May 25 at 00:50am for two minutes

Saturday, May 25 at 10.24pm for six minutes

Sunday, May 26 at 00:01am for four minutes

Sunday, May 26 at 11:11pm for five minutes

Aberdeen

Saturday, May 25 at 00:50am for two minutes

Saturday, May 25 at 10.25pm for six minutes

Sunday, May 26 at 00:01am for four minutes

Sunday, May 26 at 11:11pm for five minutes

Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling

Saturday, May 25 at 00:50am for three minutes

Saturday, May 25 at 10.24pm for six minutes
