How to spot marked bills in Cash Cleaning Simulator

In Cash Cleaning Simulator, your job is to take dirty money and make it clean. That means washing off blood or grime most of the time.

But some jobs ask for “no marked bills,” and that’s where things get tricky. Learn how to spot marked bills in Cash Cleaning Simulator here.

After a few missions, you should be able to afford the Portable UV Light from the Black Market on your phone. It costs 750 crypto coins (which you get as rewards for finishing missions and are separate from the physical currency you’re sorting and washing in the game).

Once you’ve got the lamp:

  1. Place it on the table right next to your Money Counter.
  2. Throw your loose bills onto the table to spread them out.
  3. Pick out the bills you need to use for your current quest and stack them as normal.

To make the markings easier to see, turn off the warehouse lights while you work. The darker the space, the brighter the markings will appear.

How to get the Workbench and UV Inspection Lamp in Cash Cleaning Simulator

Once you’ve made progress, aim to unlock the Workbench. It becomes available after you complete the second warehouse area, which includes a quest involving a ladder and a small puzzle.

At the Workbench, buy the Ultraviolet Inspection Lamp. This version is stronger and works directly with your other tools. It also shows markings on every bill that’s laid out on the table.

To use it:

  • Walk up to the Workbench.
  • Toggle the UV light on.
  • Check each bill in a spread or small group.

Even though the Workbench is great for precision, it can be slower for large batches. Many players prefer using the portable setup, especially at night.

When you shine a UV light over your cash, watch out for specific symbols that show the bill has been marked. These symbols help you figure out where the money came from, and and whether it’s safe to clean and return.

Here’s what each marking means:

  • Red X across the whole bill – Flagged by the police. Don’t send it out unless you enjoy attention.
  • Eye inside a red circle – Marked by the FDI (Federal Department of Investigation). Also best to keep this one separate.
  • Square symbol (with or without triangles inside) – This is a gang marking. Players have spotted different versions, but if it has a square, treat it as gang-related. These show up more often during specific missions.
  • Blood splatters – These aren’t official marks, but customers won’t be happy getting bloody bills. You’ll need to clean these before sending them out or just feed them to your Piggy Bank.
  • Ink splatters – You’ll need an Ink and Grime Sponge to get the ink off these bills, but they’re also another good money source for your Piggy Bank.

Marked bills usually show up in loose stacks, not in the banded bundles you sometimes receive.

There are also a couple of other things to note:

  • Safe, clean bills have a blue UV security line running through them.
  • If a bill has no markings at all, it’s fake.

Spotting and sorting marked bills takes time, but once you know what to look for, you’ll get through them much faster.
