Shake up your snack routine in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the shake up your snack routine duty in DDV, you need to make one Shake. The only hint you’re given that indicates what actually needs to be done here is the word shake in the Godly Glamor Star Path duty. The rest of the task is meant to hide the real mission.
This is a one-star dish, which means you only need one ingredient to make it. Unlike most dishes, though, this recipe isn’t all that strict, which ends up making cooking a Shake tougher than you might expect.

You can make a Shake by tossing any singular dairy and oil ingredient into a cooking pot, like one Butter or one Cheese. It’s a very simple dish to make, but a bit of a tricky one to figure out at first, as it can be made with a wide variety of ingredients you typically wouldn’t associate with a Shake.
It can also be a tough dish to make since there are so many different unique ingredients to choose from, both around the main valley and DLC worlds. Here is every ingredient you can use to cook a Shake in DDV.
- Beans
- Butter
- Canola
- Cheese
- Chia Seeds
- Egg
- Egg-cellent Fruit
- Fishy Green Egg
- Flyleaf Feta
- Milk
- Olives
- Peanut
- Plain Yogurt
- Purple Spring Egg
- Ruby Lentils
- Sand Worm
- Scorpion
- Shovel Bird Eggs
- Soya
- Spring V-EGG-etable
- Wild Spring Egg
While any of these items work, it’s generally best to choose one like Milk, Cheese, or Butter. These ingredients are always available for purchase at Chez Remy and Tiana’s Palace, so you can make a quick trip to either restaurant to then cook up a Shake right away. Most other ingredients require a bit of extra work to obtain.
Successfully finishing this duty gets you 50 Tokens to spend in the event. It’s one of the easiest recipes to cook up once you understand what it calls for, so this is a great one to check off as soon as possible for a massive Token reward.
Still, you’ll likely need more to redeem whichever prize you have your eye on. Some other good duties to focus on after this one are taking a photo of a true hero’s house, trying on your Ivory and Gold Toga Dress, watering your garden, and chatting with the village’s best dealmaker.
