Rematch developer Sloclap recommends playing the game with a controller, but if you prefer to use a mouse and keyboard setup, you may want to set up your custom controls.
If you’re wondering how to do so, we have you covered with everything you need to know about setting custom keybinds and hotkeys in Rematch.
Can you set your custom keybinds and hotkeys in Rematch?

Yes, Sloclap has confirmed that Rematch will feature custom keybinds and hotkeys that you can modify. However, you will only be able to do so after the full release of the game and not during the beta tests. Nevertheless, you are given four different hotkeys and keybind settings to choose from during the beta test.
All four settings are expected to be included with the full release of the game, and one of these settings will allow you to set your custom keybind and hotkeys. Here’s the list of the four control setting modes available in Rematch:
- Default keyboard preset
- Double thumb buttons preset
- Complex thumb buttons preset
- Custom

How to set keybinds in Rematch
Although the option for custom hotkeys is already available in the game, you cannot modify them yet. This setting is expected to become active after the full release of Rematch.
Here’s a series of steps you need to follow to change your hotkeys and keybinds:
- Open the settings menu from the System option.
- Head over to the Controls tab and scroll down to Keyboard mapping presets.
- Select Custom from the different options available.
You can set your desired hotkeys and keybinds on this page of the settings menu.
