How to see The Book of Mormon at Bristol Hippodrome for just £15

Bristol Hippodrome has announced a special preview of their newest show The Book Of Mormon.

The performance will take place on Tuesday, January 14, one day before the highly-anticipated Broadway hit begins its run at the theatre.

Better still, 1,500 tickets for the first showing of the hilarious musical will cost just £15.

These discounted tickets will be available to purchase only in person at Bristol Hippodrome box office from 10am on Wednesday, January 8.

The production has also announced details of a ticket lottery which takes place from January 15, which will see 15 tickets sold at £15 by ballot before each performance at the Bristol Hippodrome.

Entries will only be accepted in person at the theatre's box office two and a half hours prior to each performance.

Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets priced at £15 each.

About the Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon follows a pair of Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that’s a long way from their home in Salt Lake City.

The cast in Bristol will be led by Robert Colvin as Elder Price and Conner Peirson as Elder Cunningham.

They are joined by Nicole-Lily Baisden as Nabulungi, Will Hawksworth as Elder McKinley, Ewen Cummins as Mafala Hatimbi, Johnathan Tweedie as Joseph Smith and Thomas Vernal as the General.

The show has sold out every one of its 2,380 performances to date at the Prince of Wales Theatre (Paul Coltas)

Since making its world premiere in March 2011 at New York’s Eugene O’Neill Theatre, where it won nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, The Book of Mormon has been performed on three continents and won over thirty international awards.

The musical has smashed long-standing box office records in New York, London, Melbourne, Sydney and cities across the U.S.

It was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the pair behind the Emmy and Peabody award-winning television show South Park, which is now in its twenty-second season, and the feature films South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut and Team America: World Police.

Tickets

The Tony, Olivier and Grammy award-winning show will be at the Bristol Hippodrome until Saturday, February 22.

Tickets are available on the Book of Mormon's website and ATG Tickets, or you can phone the Hippodrome's box office on 0844 871 3012.
