A show at Bristol Hippodrome was abruptly cancelled after an audience member fell ill during the interval.

The theatre has apologised to theatre-goers for the "inconvenience" caused by the incident and has issued the following advice to anyone who had a ticket:
- All patrons attending the show (July 9) will be able to rebook to another date of their choosing.
- The Bristol Hippodrome's box office will contact patrons directly to discuss.

The theatre would advise anyone who had a ticket last night to contact the customer care team on 03330 096690 to discuss their options.
In a statement on Facebook The Bristol Hippodrome stated:
"The Bristol Hippodrome has taken the difficult decision to cancel tonight's performance of Calendar Girls The Musical after an audience member was taken ill during the interval. We wish the gentleman a speedy recovery," a spokeswoman said.
"We can confirm all patrons attending tonight's show will be able to rebook to another date of their choosing. The Bristol Hippodrome's box office will contact patrons directly to discuss.
"We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience caused by tonight's cancellation."
