You don't need to boast a Jessica Ennis-Hill style six-pack or goal-scoring right foot to put your interests at the heart of your career. Aside from being a professional sportsperson or athlete, there are lots of jobs out there. From marketing and communications, to fitness and nutrition, wherever your skills lie there's something for you.

David Moorcroft is the director of sport at London 2012 legacy, Join In. He is a three-time Olympic athlete and former 5,000m world record holder. Paul Morgan is head of sports management at Bucks New University. His particular interests lie in sports psychology and psychological resilience in business and elite sport. Paul supports his students' professional development through a variety of sports partnerships, ensuring they're well prepared for work in the industry after graduation.
Kelly Lickley is the operations director at SkillsActive. She oversees professional workforce development and manages the executive committees across the home nations. Kelly also manages SkillsActive's national partner contracts with Sport England. You can follow @SkillsActive.
Michael Owen, former captain of Wales and a British Lion, is the director of rugby at Haileybury, a leading independent school in Hertfordshire. Michael, the 1,000th player to be capped by Wales, is best known for captaining his country to their first grand slam in 27 years in 2005. Following his retirement in 2010, he coached at the Hertford Rugby Club and studied for an MSc in management, before accepting the post at Haileybury.
Susan Shaw is the course co-ordinator for the performance sportswear design BA at Falmouth University. She has extensive knowledge of the American sportswear market, having worked in design and merchandising for the likes of Macy's, Saks and Nordstrom.
Victoria Branch is the global marketing director for Premier Training International, provider of vocational health and fitness qualifications. Working within the leisure and fitness industry since 2001, she joined Premier Training International in 2010.
