How to Prestige weapons fast and get XP Tickets in Far Far West

Prestiging weapons in Far Far West is one of the fastest ways to keep your progress moving, especially when you want to earn XP Tickets.

If you want to earn XP Tickets faster and avoid wasting time on weak runs, you have no other option but to level up weapons quicker than your character, which makes them the best target for repeated Prestige cycles. Although the devs have confirmed they’ll bring weekly challenges in the future as another way to earn XP tickets.

Having that said, here’s a complete breakdown of how weapon Prestige works in Far Far West, the fastest way to level up weapons, and ultimately earn XP Tickets.

How weapon Prestige works in Far Far West

In Far Far West, Prestige unlocks once a weapon reaches level 20. Weapons are usually the faster route to Prestige because they level up faster than your character. When you Prestige a weapon, you don’t lose progress like Joker slots, upgrades, or money.

Instead, you gain Prestige tokens or points that can be spent on permanent bonuses, including XP Tickets. Each weapon can only be Prestiged a limited number of times, so every prestige matters.

Fastest way to Prestige weapons in Far Far West

The fastest way to Prestige a weapon is to keep it in your hands and use it as your main damage source during runs, because weapon XP only counts when that weapon is actually doing the work.

If you leave it sitting in your loadout and do most of the killing with the other weapon or abilities, you will slow down the progress. This is why a run focused on weapons works best when you push through enemies efficiently, clear points of interest consistently, and keep the weapon active from start to finish.

Builds focused on speed also help here, especially if you put prioritize speed and use movement tools like Portal to cut travel time. If you can already blast through harder content efficiently, fast Nightmare clears can also be strong for XP, but that route only makes sense if your runs are truly quick and in co-op, rather than going solo.

Tutorial runs are also a great way to earn XP if you’re not ready to clear Nightmare maps. Simply load into the Tutorial from the main menu, complete the Objective, rush to the boss, use TNT to speed up the fight, and extract as fast as possible.

How to get XP Tickets in Far Far West

XP Tickets are tied to the Prestige system, which means the main way to get them is to reach the level cap on a character or weapon, Prestige, and then spend those points in the menu.

Each XP Ticket costs one Prestige point and grants three levels to the chosen character or weapon. Since each Prestige grants 5 points, you can turn a single Prestige into multiple Tickets if you skip other rewards.

Best way to spend Prestige points

You should prefer getting better weapons or Hero levels using these Prestige points. Since XP Tickets cost just one point, they are the easiest way to stack progress in a single cycle. So, use your points on the reward you need most, then spend the leftover points on XP Tickets. That keeps a balance on your weapon and character leveling.

Don’t Prestige randomly, because each weapon only has a limited number of cycles, which is 10. Don’t spend all your points on Gold or Souls if your real goal is leveling faster, because XP Tickets give the best direct progress value for just a point each.

Also, avoid running a weapon that you’re not using much, since passive loadout weapons don’t earn XP efficiently in Far Far West.
