Opening the drawbridge is the first major puzzle you will be solving in Big Walk, and it’s an important step for your adventure. The drawbridge allows you to access other parts of the island and adventure further. To do so, you will need to solve the first key puzzle within the game.

How to solve the drawbridge key puzzle in Big Walk
To open the drawbridge, you will need the key. To get the key, you will need to find four gourd structures located all around the map. Since advanced areas of the map remain locked at this stage, all four of them are located close to one another. There is no fixed order in which you find the gourds, so you can find them in any pattern you want. I have numbered them for my benefit, but it’s not an important point to consider.
Gourd 1
The first gourd can be found near the red gate from where you entered the map. Hug the path on the left as you start walking down, and you will eventually reach a blue structure. One of you will need to head inside the locked room, and you will find certain patterns. The player will need to disclose the pattern to the other players, who will have to place the corresponding panels on the wall and press the switch, and you will get your first goat in this way.
Gourd 2
The second one is also located close to the main path when you get down the cliff. It’s hanging from an L-shaped yellow mechanical structure. To reach it, you will have to activate a switch. To reach the switch, you have to stack four people on top of one another. The final person might have to jump to reach the switch.
Gourd 3
To find this one, head to the cliff on the right. You will find a telescope and a switch beside it. The switch activates a red-colored box in the distance. One of you will need to stay back and keep the switch activated. You can use the telescope to locate the location of the gourd in the distance, and then head over to the cave. Just follow the red light, and you should be able to find the gourd easily.
Gourd 4
The final one is located in a green structure to the left of the map. You will need 4 people to solve this puzzle. All four of you will have to activate the switch at the same moment for the puzzle to be solved. Once done, you will get your final goad. Bring all four gourds back and place them in the empty slots to get your key.
To place the gourds, one of you will need to press one of the switches to open the case. The other players can then place them to obtain the key.
How to use the key to open the drawbridge in Big Walk
Once you find the key, you cannot use it directly. Instead, you have to shape it first to open the drawbridge. You will need to find five special devices that will allow you to shape the key once you insert it into them. Three are located near the area where the key was obtained, and two are around the shoreline on the rocks.
Once you shape the key, go to the drawbridge, place it at the required spot, and you will be able to access the other parts of the island.
