Fortnite continues this Super season with hidden surprises and secrets to figure out. One of these is the hidden cache locked behind the doors under the Supernova Academy. But how exactly can you open the Academy Tech Labs’ locked doors in Fortnite Chapter Six, season three?
How to open the locked doors in the Supernova Academy Tech Labs
If you land at the Fortnite Supernova Academy, you will find the Academy Tech Labs in the lower section of the building where Superman is hanging out. In this area, doors are marked by rankings C to S and are completely locked up unless you have reached those rankings.
To complete the ‘Open locked doors in Academy Tech Labs while at Hero Rank A or above’ quest, you must unlock the door marked A or S. This means your Hero Rank must be at least Rank A to be able to do so. You can check your Hero Rank by looking to the right of your screen. The lettering on each Tech Lab door will be highlighted in green when you can open it yourself.
Inside each lab is a Super item, such as the visor or gauntlets, and a bunch of high-rarity weapons and items for sale. Of course, if you reach Rank S or A, you will also be able to open the lower rank lab doors and have your pick of every powerful weapon there.
If you have yet to reach Hero Rank A or above, you can do so by completing a few tasks as you play.

As you can see, there are various ways to rank up, giving you the chance to unlock any of the Academy Tech Lab doors during your match. The best way to rank up and complete your Kickstart quest is to stick around the Academy location and find a Spire, a Sprite Shrine, and different enemies and players to eliminate. Survive long enough to rank up and get inside the Supernova Academy lab to loot up ready for your victory royale!
