Building your base is a core part of your Dune Awakening experience, and the ability to repair and move your objects helps you manage your base better.
While you can build different parts for structures and objects, they can also take damage over time, mostly from natural elements. Thankfully, you can repair your constructions—here's how.

How to repair objects in Dune Awakening
You'll need an object that has taken damage to start your repairs. This also applies to your base's walls and doors, which can take damage from different enemies. To begin your repairs, open the Construction Tool with the relevant hotkey in Dune Awakening.
- The first prompt for the Construction Tool will be laying down blueprints for building a new object.
- Press the Right Mouse button three times to cycle down to Repair.
- Your clicks should be slow; wait for the selection to cycle down slowly.
- Once the selection has changed to Repair, press the Left Mouse Button to begin your repairs.
That's how easy it is to repair an object/base part in Dune Awakening.
How to move objects in Dune Awakening

You might need to move objects for different reasons, and it's possible thanks to the "Move" function.
- Open the Construction Tool and point to the item you want to move.
- Press the Right Mouse Button twice to cycle to the Move option (the clicks should be slow).
- Press the Left Mouse Button to pick the object you want to move.
- Don't let go of your mouse; go where you want to place the object.
- Let go of the mouse, and the object will be placed in the new position.
- Note that some areas might be restricted when placing a given object.
If you're not happy with its new location, you can repeat the process with that object. Almost every object, including constructed walls and roof materials, can be removed and repositioned, making it easy to design your base.
