Arrange playdates with kids that are your child’s age. Give them the companionship that can get them excited for school. Having a friend their age can get them excited for school as they have someone they can talk to. Kids are more complex than we think they are. There is a reason behind their every action, they might not like school because of some problems they are facing during online learning. It is important for you to understand the reason behind the way they are feeling. Once you find the root cause of the problem it is easier to find a solution and make them excited for school.

This is the easiest trick in the book, but it works for a short period of time. By giving them incentives we mean that you should give them an added encouragement to get them excited for school. It works for a shorter period of time and is like first aid for the problem. By the time this trick works, you should try to fix the underlying cause.

Communication is key to a better relationship. If your child says that they hate school, there should be a reason behind it. Talk to them and be their friend. Be open to conversations and understand their point of view. They might feel this way because they are unable to learn in the online mode or due to the loneliness they feel. It is important for you to be flexible and make some changes if they feel uncomfortable in a situation.
