Among the wide array of drinks Aava can make during her path to the summit in Cairn, none can rival the Ultimate Infusion. After all, what else can you expect of a recipe that comes with its own achievement?
But unlike many might think at first glance, you won’t need to have a degree to make it. Instead, doing it simply demands taking a few extra steps. Here’s how to make the Ultimate Infusion and unlock The Herbalist trophy/achievement in Cairn.
How To Make The Ultimate Infusion In Cairn
You can make the Ultimate Infusion in Cairn by mixing a Strong Infusion with either Juniper, Nettle, Dandelion, or Thistle. Upon being cooked, each sip of the drink will provide you with a 5-minute-long Focus, Grip, and Grit boost, as well as +40 Temperature (if drank hot), +50 Health, and +20 Thirst. To cook the infusion early on, follow the steps below:
- Mix up Nettle and Clean Water to get Nettle Infusion
- Pair the Infusion with a Dandelion or Thistle to make a Strong Infusion. Both ingredients can be easily found in the early areas of the Kami and within The Tenzen.
- Mix your Strong Infusion with another Dandelion to get the Ultimate Infusion.
When preparing the above, prioritize using the contents of your Thermos to keep it warm indefinitely. If you haven’t unlocked the latter yet, don’t forget you can reheat your beverages as many times as you like by simply adding them to your cookpot while in bivouac camp.
How To Get The Thermos in Cairn
You can get the Thermos in Cairn by, after meeting and talking to her at The Vault, giving Rody’s Letter to the shepherdess. You can find the letter by a bed inside The Village, so make sure to explore the area well. While doing so, don’t forget to also climb the crystal-filled wall for the Glowing Gloves. Apart from netting you the Thermos, delivering the letter will also unlock the Aava Porter Bridges trophy/achievement.
