How to make the most of B&Q Black Friday event as DIY giant starts sale early

It looks like many of us are stuck in the house for the foreseeable, and what better time to take advantage of some home improvement bargains?

Homeware, DIY and garden giant B&Q has kicked off their Black Friday sale early, and eagle-eyed shoppers have already spotted some incredible deals nestled among the discounts.

B&Q hasn't always been a Black Friday fan, notably not taking part in the sales extravaganza back in 2018.

However last year the DIY store introduced some incredible savings, and it looks like 2020 will be no different.

There's already a dedicated Black Friday page on the DIY.com website ready to be filled with offers as of November 27 - but you don't need to wait until then to save some cash.

If you scour the B&Q website some early bird deals are already popping up, particularly in off-season aisles such as garden furniture, tools and accessories.

Here, we have a look at some of the discounts already on offer.

Lifetime garden storage box - £75 (Was £150 Save £75)

Carambole Grey Parasol - £29 (Was £59 Save £30)

Adelaide Metal 4 seater Dining set - £76 (Was £128 Save £52)

Remember to check back regularly on the B&Q website as they add more deals. As an essential retailer, B&Q stores in areas where there is a local lockdown are set to  remain open - although like most supermarkets there will be a queuing system outside.

It's probably quicker and easier - especially in the Scottish winter - to opt for the retailer's Click + Collect service or home delivery instead of trying to shop in store.
