Red, white and blue ribbon 15/16-inch eye screws
Red spray paint

Step 1: Spray paint the wooden dowels.
Step 2: Attach an eye screw to one end of each dowel.
Step 3: Cut a variety of ribbon strands ranging in length from 15 inches to 30 inches.
Step 4: Thread the ribbons through the hole of each eye screw. If you squeeze in as many ribbons as you can, you won't need to tie any knots.
