To get the Astronomy Badge achievement in PEAK, to "look a little too closely at the blazing sun," equip and use your binoculars to look at the sun. This goes against everything we've ever been taught as kids and adults, but hey, this is a silly little indie game we're talking about.
Equip the binoculars and then look up at the sun and zoom in, and the achievement should pop up shortly after.
Where to find binoculars in PEAK
In PEAK, binoculars tend to spawn right on the shore near your plane's crash site. Make sure to scour the area when you first spawn in to find some binoculars if you're looking to tackle the Astronomy Badge achievement.
Binoculars take up a slot in your inventory, so keep this in mind when heading out on your expedition.
