Specialization level and Talent Points in The Division Resurgence, explained
To unlock a Talent Node in the Talent Tree, you need Talent Points. For every Specialization, you can earn up to 30 Talent Points by earning SXP through activities and leveling up the Specialization. The rest of the Talent Points come from SHD Tech Caches, which primarily drop from world events.
Best way to level up Specialization in The Division Resurgence
Daily and weekly quests
Every day, you can complete four daily quests that award 1,820 SXP each. Those are great to get you a head start on leveling a Specialization, so make it your daily ritual to complete them. You also get regular XP and Phoenix Credits by completing these quests.

Then there are weekly quests. Each weekly milestone awards a reward package and 2,400 SXP. Weekly objectives focus on playing Dark Zone, Conflict, and replaying main missions, all of which grant SXP on their own.
World events
World events constantly appear on the map (red icons) and are an easy way to get gear. Completing a world event grants 800 SXP. However, they can also drop SHD Tech Caches that you need to get the remaining Talent Points.
The best event to farm is the Supply Run (briefcase icon). It drops at least three items from supply crates plus the completion rewards. Supply Runs are also easy to complete – interact with the crates and don’t let the enemies steal them. If you’re playing with other agents, you can cover each other while opening crates to get the event done in minutes.
In The Division Resurgence, world events have a daily completion cap of 10. Doing world events after that still grants random mid-activity drops, but you won’t get SXP, character XP, or any of the guaranteed key rewards.
Replay main missions
After completing a main mission for the first time, you can replay it through the Mission Instances tab (grey markers). While you can matchmake for these missions, it’s usually faster to complete them solo than to wait for the team. Choose the difficulty that suits you best and don’t be afraid to lower it. One mission clear on Normal difficulty awards 2,140 SXP, some gear, and upgrade materials.
