Tutor profiles

Katie Maddison has been working in the festival and live music industry for the last 10 years, earning her stripes on some of the UK’s biggest and best events and even some of the Middle East’s very first. She has worked in various stage and site management and event production roles, including at Glastonbury, Arcadia, WOMAD, Shambala, Flash UAE, Lovebox and Secret Garden Party. Most recently, Katie has worked as a creative producer for multi-award-winning shows Bestival and Camp Bestival.

Jo Vidler has been co-creating experiential lifestyle festival brands for 10 years. She is director and co-founder of one of the nation’s leading creative production companies, Secret Productions Ltd. Jo co-founded award-winning festivals including Wilderness, Wonderfruit and Day Zero. She was co-creative and marketing director of The Secret Garden Party from 2007-2013. As well as working on large-scale events she continues to work closely with renowned international artists, bringing colour and life into their shows. These processes result in bold visuals and events that have never been seen before, and which capture the imagination of many diverse audiences.

Joanna Mountain currently heads up the creative production for lifestyle festivals including Wilderness, Lovebox, Somersault and Citadel, as well as smaller events for private clients. Having fulfilled different roles at events including Secret Garden Party, Glade and Shangri La at Glastonbury, Joanna has extensive knowledge of what it takes to launch and grow a festival from scratch.

Bradley Thompson has spent the last 10 years devising and executing a number of high-profile festivals including Europe’s biggest music, ski and snowboard festival: Snowbombing, the UK’s largest children’s festival, LolliBop, and award winning Festival No.6 – a luxury, bespoke banquet of music, arts and culture. Bradley has also worked with some of the world’s best know brand’s including 3 Mobile, Volvo, Estrella Damm, Veuve Clicquot and most recently Bacardi Global to create the biggest branded music event for 2014 – the Bacardi Triangle, a three day event in Puerto Rico which saw Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding and Kendrick Lamar perform to over 1,862 guests on a deserted island in the heart of the Bermuda Triangle.
