Stuart Langley founded Disappearing Dining Club in 2010 after 15 years of running bars, restaurants and members clubs in London and overseas. DDC aims to bring ‘like-minded people together to enjoy great food, drink and good company in reclaimed or unusual private spaces in London’. Alongside dinner dances and pop-up events, Stuart launched Back in 5 Minutes on Brick Lane in summer 2013.

Kiki Evans is one half of A Grape Night In, who stage wine tastings, dinners and pop ups across London. Since meeting at Jamie Oliver’s 15 as sommeliers, Kiki and Laura have grow a wine business from scratch without any outside investment or support, and are currently working on their first bricks and mortar wine bar in South London.
Adam Harrison was already running Tart, a weekly stall at a farmer’s market in Herne Hill when he came to a Guardian Masterclass Food Start Up course in 2013. Since then Adam has used his impressive marketing acumen and a lot of hard work to open his first Tart shop and café in Clapham Common. His story is one of long hours, determination and how to use the skills you already have to enter the food and drink industry.
