Skins play a huge part in building up the hype around a game. Be it football, basketball, or even WWE, every player wants some cool cosmetics to go along with their favourite players. Football Manager 26, unfortunately, does not have that originally.
But not to worry, because today we’ll explain how to install skins through mods and packs in FM26 easily. This doesn’t require a lot of time or effort investment, and makes the game a lot more enticing to play.
How To Download Skins In Football Manager 26?

Downloading skins has been made pretty straightforward, thanks to websites like sortitoutsi. Basically, what you have to do is download and install a skin pack from a trusted website and combine it with your game folder. This will automatically trigger your game to receive a variety of skins once you restart. Here’s the step-by-step guide:
- Choose which site you want to install the skin pack from. Remember, not all websites are safe, so be careful when making your decision. Trusted websites include sortitoutsi, TCM Logos, and FM Scout.
- Locate the pack you want to install, e.g, Cut-Out Player Faces Megaback. Once you click on the pack, it will redirect you to the download page. Download the pack onto your PC.
- The downloaded pack should appear in your Downloads folder. You need to move the file into your FM26 folder (which can be found inside the Sports Interactive folder).
- If you have a file that ends in .zip, .rar, or .7z, then you’ll need to extract the files before installing them.
- In the FM26 folder, locate the graphics folder, and paste the pack there. If you don’t have a graphics folder, simply create a new folder. The pack will start installing into your game. This might take a while, depending on the file size and your internet speed.
You’ve successfully downloaded the skin pack for your game. But the project doesn’t end here. Now, you’ll need to refresh Football Manager 26 so it displays the new skins. Here’s how you can do that:
- Click Preferences on FM26’s start screen.
- Expand the Advanced tab and select Interface.
- Under Skin Heading, uncheck “Use caching to decrease page loading times” and check “Reload skin when confirming changes to preferences”.
- Finally, click Reload Skin.
This will provide your game with all the available skins in your skin pack. You can follow the same process for team logos and kits as well.
