Mobile Legends: Bang Bang offers the ability to control your in-game privacy, including the option to hide your match history from other players. Whether you’re a rising Mythic player, a casual grinder, or someone testing new builds, maintaining a certain level of privacy can enhance your overall experience.
This guide shows you how to hide your history in MLBB step-by-step, explore the reasons why players choose to keep their gameplay private, and outline important limitations you should know before making the switch.
Why players hide match history in Mobile Legends

Many players choose to hide their MLBB match history for a variety of reasons. One common reason is to avoid being scouted by potential enemies, especially in high-ranked matches or tournament settings. When your recent matches are visible, opponents can analyze your best heroes, strategies, and playstyle, putting you at a disadvantage before the game even begins.
Another motivation is to prevent toxicity or unsolicited feedback. Public match history can attract unwanted attention from friends, former teammates, or even random players who may criticize your performance or decisions, even when it’s not constructive. Some players also prefer to hide fluctuations in their gameplay.
For those who value a more relaxed or anonymous experience, hiding match history is simply a way to game without being tracked. It allows you to play on your own terms without feeling like every match is being watched or scrutinized.
Step-by-step guide on how to hide history in MLBB
Mobile Legends offers a privacy option in your account settings that lets you control who can see your match history. Here’s how to enable it:

- From the main lobby screen, tap the Settings icon (cog wheel) located in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to the Privacy tab.
- Scroll down until you find the Show History option.
- You’ll see three visibility settings: All, Friends, and Hide to All.
- To completely hide your match history, select Hide to All. If you prefer to keep it visible only to your friends, you can choose the Friends option instead.
The setting is saved automatically, so you can simply exit the menu and resume playing, with your match history now hidden from public view.

Hiding your match history won’t remove you from the Global Ranked Leaderboard or Global Hero Leaderboard. However, if you appear on either of the leaderboards, your match history remains visible to others. This exception helps ensure transparency and fairness for top-ranking players.
You can only toggle your entire match history visibility. There’s no built-in feature to hide individual games or specific heroes used. Additionally, your win rate, MMR, rank, and other public stats are still visible elsewhere.
